Culdcept BEGINS launches on Steam
The Steam version of Culdcept BEGINS is officially available as of today, October 28, 2026. Published by Neos, this release brings the strategic board-card hybrid to PC with several platform-specific enhancements.
The Culdcept franchise, which has been captivating fans since its 1997 debut, continues its momentum. Following a successful launch on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in July, which saw sales exceed 100,000 units, the series' latest installment is now making its way to Steam.
The PC version introduces several new features and quality-of-life improvements. Players can explore three new battle maps and customize their decks with 10 new cover designs. Additionally, the Steam edition features an improved UI for better visibility and a new voice-over function for cards within the encyclopedia. These updates aim to provide a more seamless and immersive experience compared to the console versions.
To celebrate the launch, a special bundle has been released. It combines Culdcept BEGINS with Culdcept The First, a remastered version of the series' original title, allowing new players to experience the franchise's evolution in one package.
A 10% launch discount on the standard edition is available until November 11. Various editions are also on sale, including a Digital Deluxe version featuring a soundtrack and digital artbook. Notably, console players can expect similar free updates to be rolled out to their versions in the near future.
