CS2: Season 5 Starts July 8 as Cache Enters Active Duty and Overpass Leaves

What Changed
Valve released a Counter-Strike 2 update on July 8 with Premier Season 5. The main competitive change is Cache officially entering the Active Duty map pool while Overpass leaves it.
The patch also changes C4 damage on all official defusal maps. Damage values are now precomputed and baked into the map, while the blast shockwave expands from the explosion center instead of applying instantly.
