Cinderia to Feature 2-Player Co-op Mode: Details from TGS 2026

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, a playable demonstration at the 4Gamer booth revealed upcoming content for the roguelite action game Cinderia. The highlight of the showcase was the announcement of a new 2-player cooperative mode, set to be implemented in a future update.

Developed by MyACG Studio, Cinderia has already established a strong presence on Steam, accumulating over 4,000 reviews and earning a "Very Positive" rating. While the game features an adorable art style, it is set in a dark fantasy world known as the "Ash Kingdom," where characters inspired by fairy tales battle against a powerful witch.

The TGS 2026 demo allowed visitors to experience the upcoming cooperative mode firsthand. While the base game focuses on clearing rooms of enemies and managing builds, the addition of multiplayer introduces a more chaotic and frantic energy. Players can work together to navigate through levels, adding a new layer of interaction to the combat-heavy gameplay.

The core gameplay loop revolves around building character kits through active and passive skills. While active skills can fundamentally change a character's combat style, the game features a unique risk-reward mechanic: stacking too many passive skills can trigger dangerous curses (debuffs), preventing players from simply overwhelming themselves with buffs.

For those unable to attend the event in person, a special stage featuring producer xiaoyu is scheduled for September 19 at 13:45 (local time). The event will be broadcast live on the 4GamerSP YouTube channel, providing more insights into the game's development and upcoming features.
