Chinese Lisuan GPUs approach day-one driver support for new titles
Lisuan is making strides in software support for its hardware. The latest driver release for the LX 7G100 graphics card shows the company's push toward near day-one compatibility for new game releases, addressing launch issues and optimizing performance for several major titles.
Lisuan has rolled out a new Windows driver for its LX 7G100 graphics card. The Pilot Release 30.0.2260.896, available via the company's official download center, brings 58 changes. This update consists of 43 fixes, 13 performance optimizations, and two new feature additions.
Key functional updates include the addition of FreeSync control within the Lisuan eXtreme software, allowing users to manage variable refresh rate (VRR) support. Additionally, the driver introduces hardware decoding support for MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video formats, expanding the card's multimedia capabilities.

The update specifically addresses launch issues for several recent titles, most notably Phantom Blade Zero. Other games receiving startup fixes include F1 24, F1 25, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Star Wars Outlaws, Evil West, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Furthermore, the driver addresses crashes in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.
Rendering issues and memory management are also addressed. Fixes are included for Red Dead Redemption 2, Borderlands 4, and Gray Zone Warfare. The update also targets abnormal VRAM usage in Monster Hunter: World, PUBG, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, while resolving frame rate drops in Death Stranding.
Performance optimizations
Lisuan claims performance improvements for 13 games, including Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Dying Light 2, Nioh 2, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Borderlands 3, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. However, the company has not provided specific benchmark data or percentage improvements to quantify these optimizations.
With two major releases in just over a month, Lisuan has implemented a total of 125 changes, signaling an aggressive effort to mature its driver ecosystem.
