DLSS 4.5 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4: Early Access with Frame Generation
NVIDIA has announced that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign will enter early access on October 16th. The headline technical feature for this release is the support for DLSS 4.5, bringing advanced upscaling and frame generation capabilities to the title.
New DLSS 4.5 Features
The update focuses on expanding the neural rendering toolkit. In addition to standard Super Resolution, GeForce RTX users will gain access to Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. This technology enables the dynamic generation of intermediate frames, which is intended to significantly boost image fluidity during intense campaign sequences without placing an equivalent load on the primary GPU cores.

It is important to note that utilizing frame generation features requires compatible hardware and the activation of specific in-game settings. NVIDIA positions this as a method to achieve higher frame rates while maintaining high visual fidelity.
Technical Details and Availability
While NVIDIA has not yet released the specific system requirements for running DLSS 4.5 in Modern Warfare 4, it is expected that the frame generation features will require Ada Lovelace architecture GPUs or newer.

Early access to the campaign begins on October 16th. The exact full release date and the complete software specification for these new features are expected to be announced at a later date.
