Blue Archive Updates with New Event Story and Swimsuit Students

Nexon has updated the subculture RPG Blue Archive with a new event story titled 'Storm Passes, Clear Sky' and introduced two new swimsuit-themed students.

The new event story, 'Storm Passes, Clear Sky,' follows students from "Shanhaijing" Senior High School on a vacation to a valley village. The narrative focuses on their journey to understand the true role of adults while managing a group of troublesome kindergarteners.

The update introduces two new characters: Kisaki (Swimsuit) and Shun (Swimsuit). Kisaki (Swimsuit) is a Sonic-type Supporter whose EX Skill, 'Execution: Calisthenics,' transforms into 'Declaration: Closed Today' after two uses. This skill assists combat by increasing Skill Cost recovery speed and reducing the Skill Cost for three Striker-type allies. Shun (Swimsuit) acts as a Sonic-type Dealer; she can accumulate 'Flower Buds' over up to three stages to deal heavy damage to a single enemy. She also possesses a transformation mechanic into Shuerin (Swimsuit), which unleashes powerful attacks at the cost of reduced Attack power for up to three turns.

Players can earn event currencies, specifically 'Audit Plans' and 'Facility Entry Tickets,' by completing story quests. These can be exchanged in the event shop for items such as Tactical Training BD (Shanhaijing) and Technical Notes (Shanhaijing). Additionally, clearing high-difficulty Challenge stages rewards 30 Pyroxenes per stage, while completing the final 'Challenge EX' stage grants 5 Secret Tech Sheet Fragments.

In conjunction with the update, Nexon announced the '5th Anniversary Festival,' an offline event scheduled for November 7–8 to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Blue Archive's global service. The festival will feature fan-created content booths and various on-site programs. Ticket sales will occur in two phases: the first phase for players Level 70 or higher opens on October 14, while the second phase for players Level 30 or higher begins on October 16. Pre-registration for membership verification starts on October 13 for the first phase and October 15 for the second.
