BETBOOM TEAM suspends Dota 2 participation
BETBOOM TEAM has temporarily suspended its participation in Dota 2. The organization moved all players from the current roster to the inactive list, stating that the team's competitive results do not align with the club's ambitions and development trajectory.
The decision to take a pause comes after a brief period of experimentation. Although the lineup was expected to compete at least until December 2026, the team's run was limited to only two tournaments: BLAST Slam VIII, where they finished 9th–12th, and PARI Universe, where they placed 9th–10th.
The roster had undergone significant changes at the start of the season. Vitalie "Save-" Melnic moved to the mid-lane following Danil "gpK~" Skutin's transition to the inactive list, and Georgiy "swedenstrong" Zainalabidov joined as the new position four. Additionally, Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek was brought on as the team's coach.
