Battlefield 6 launches Season 3: Golmud returns with new modes and three weapons

EA and DICE have officially opened Battlefield 6 Season 3, titled Warlords Supremacy, and it looks like the biggest update since launch. Phase one began on May 12, 2026.

Golmud returns in a much bigger form

The centerpiece of the season is the return of Railway to Golmud from Battlefield 4. This is not a simple remaster: the map has been expanded, aerial space was opened up, river routes were widened, and large-scale vehicle warfare now has far more room to breathe.

New modes and weapons

Season 3 also introduces fresh playlists and three additional weapons aimed at broadening class variety. DICE is clearly trying to keep both infantry-focused players and vehicle squads busy throughout the season.
