B1ad3 on the loss to Legacy: "Whether n1ssim played the best map of his career or we played poorly, I don't know"

NAVI coach Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi shared his initial conclusions with Maincast following the loss to Legacy at the start of the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs. The Ukrainian organization suffered a defeat on Inferno and Ancient, failing to convert their early advantages into wins.

Thrown Advantages Changed the Course of Inferno

According to Andrii, the main problem on Inferno was the rounds in which NAVI had already secured a significant advantage. These mistakes not only allowed Legacy to win rounds but also affected the psychological state of both teams.

"At this level, everything comes down to whether you win the rounds in which you have an advantage. Losing just one such round can give them a huge amount of confidence. We were losing confidence while they were gaining it. It is very difficult to play under that kind of pressure.", — said Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi.

He added that the team failed to show its usual level on the CT side. In his opinion, winning several key situations could have completely changed the course of the map.
