ASUS ROG Swift PG34WCDN launches at $1,299 with 34-inch 360 Hz QD-OLED

What Was Announced

ASUS ROG Swift PG34WCDN launched as a premium 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED monitor. The FPS Review lists a $1,299 launch price, while ASUS’ official page confirms the core specs: 3440x1440, 1800R curve, 360 Hz and 0.03 ms GTG.

This is not a budget monitor for everyone. ASUS is clearly targeting players who want fast multiplayer, high-contrast single-player games and desktop work on one main display.

Key Specs

QD-OLED brings deep blacks and fast response, while RGB Stripe layout is meant to improve text. For an ultrawide monitor, that matters because the screen is often used for browsing, spreadsheets, editors and streaming tools as well as games.

360 Hz at WQHD ultrawide is demanding. To use the refresh rate fully, you need a powerful GPU and games that can actually run at that frame rate.

Why The Price Makes Sense

$1,299 places PG34WCDN in enthusiast territory. Buyers are paying for the combination: OLED, ultrawide, high refresh, text clarity and the ROG ecosystem.

In the 2026 market, this category matters. OLED monitors are no longer rare, so vendors are competing not only on contrast but also on everyday usability.

Before Buying

Before buying, check desk space, 21:9 support in your main games, OLED protection features and your PC’s real 3440x1440 performance. If the system cannot drive high FPS, part of the 360 Hz price becomes future headroom.
