Japanese retailer Ark Selection Memory has expanded its inventory with new DDR5 memory modules. The release includes eight items: four desktop DIMMs and four mobile CSODIMMs designed for laptops equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors.

The new products are now available in stores. Desktop DDR5 DIMM modules operate at 5600 MT/s and come in three capacities: 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. The chips are sourced from SK hynix and Micron, with prices ranging from approximately $170 to $390 USD (based on current exchange rates).

For mobile platforms, the retailer offers DDR5 CSODIMM modules supporting Intel's Clock Speed Optimizer (CSO) technology for Core Ultra chips. These modules run at higher frequencies of 6400 MT/s and 7200 MT/s. Like the desktop line, they utilize SK hynix dies. Capacities are limited to 8GB and 16GB, with prices starting around $95 USD.

It is crucial to note that the mobile CSODIMMs require a compatible Intel Core Ultra processor to function correctly; they are not universal upgrades for any DDR5 laptop. The desktop DIMMs are standard modules without specific CPU architecture restrictions.
