AOC China lists AG277QSD: Tandem-OLED, WQHD, 320 Hz and True Black 500
AOC China has officially listed the new AG277QSD, a 26.5-inch gaming monitor featuring a Tandem-QD-OLED panel, WQHD resolution, and an impressive 320 Hz refresh rate.
The display is marketed with AOC's "DarkShield" technology, which promises enhanced scratch resistance (rated at 3H) and reduced color casts in bright environments. This coating aims to mitigate the typical red or purple tint often seen on OLED screens when viewed under strong ambient light, similar to Gigabyte's ObsidianShield or MSI's DarkArmor.

Performance specifications are robust: the panel offers a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD) with a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. It supports DCI-P3 color coverage at 99% and sRGB at 100%, with Delta-E values under 1 in DCI-P3 mode for high color accuracy. HDR performance is certified by DisplayHDR True Black 500, boasting peak brightness of up to 1,300 cd/m² (at 3% APL) and a response time of 0.03 ms (gray-to-gray).

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone jack, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with three Type-A and one Type-B port. The monitor features G-Sync compatible Adaptive Sync to prevent tearing and supports Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes. Ergonomics are comprehensive, allowing tilt, swivel, height adjustment of 150 mm, and pivot rotation.

While the device is currently listed on the Chinese website with a potential price range of 400 to 500 euros, there has been no official communication regarding its release date or availability in the German market. AOC provides a three-year warranty for this model, offering peace of mind against OLED burn-in risks.
