AION 2 PvE, PvP and Activities Guide
AION 2 offers dungeons, events and several forms of PvP. This overview explains what each activity is for and how to build a manageable routine.
Solo activities
Solo content lets you practice a class and earn rewards without waiting for a party. Sealed Dungeons, fortresses, trials and individual boss encounters test damage, survival and your ability to read attacks.
Group PvE
Expeditions support parties of up to five players. Clear roles, coordinated interrupts and positioning are essential. Larger activities introduce more complex phases and reward prepared presets.

Open-world activities
World bosses, regional events and exploration alternate personal goals with mass encounters. Before moving out, confirm the channel, the target’s expected time and your party or Legion’s loot rules.
PvP: the Abyss, arenas and rifts
The Abyss is the central space for faction conflict. Arenas, battlegrounds and invasions through space-time rifts provide additional formats. Availability and schedules depend on the global service.
- Create a separate PvP preset with control and cleansing options.
- Adjust mass-battle graphics so enemy telegraphs remain visible.
- Stay with the group; chasing alone rarely helps more than playing the objective.
- Know your escape route and keep enough flight time in reserve.
Avoiding activity overload
Separate activities required for your immediate goal from optional content. Use limited entries first, then continue the story or progression plan, leaving exploration for flexible periods.
