Aion 2 enters Steam's top 5 most played games after launch
Aion 2, the MMORPG from NCSOFT, has successfully entered the top 5 of Steam's most played games following its official global launch. As of October 7, the title ranked 3rd in 'Current Players' and 5th in 'Daily Players' on the platform's charts.
The game's performance during the early access period, which began on September 30, was already strong. During that phase, Aion 2 reached 1st place on the global 'Top Sellers' chart on Steam and topped revenue charts in 15 different countries, with peak concurrent players exceeding 170,000.
The official release on October 5 saw a significant surge in activity. On the first day of the full launch, concurrent players surpassed 400,000—an increase of over 230,000 compared to the early access peak. Additionally, Aion 2 secured the 1st place position on both the 'Popular New Releases' and 'Trending Free' charts on Steam.
