3DMAX defeat Luminosity in Logitech G Play Connect 2026 grand final

The French roster 3DMAX has claimed the title at Logitech G Play Connect 2026 after defeating Luminosity in a marathon grand final. The series lasted nearly seven hours, ultimately ending in a 3-2 victory for the French side in the Bo5 format.

After upsetting tournament favorites B8 in the semifinals, Luminosity entered the grand final with momentum but lacked the stamina to close out the series. 3DMAX proved more resilient in high-pressure moments, clinching critical maps in overtime.

The series opened on Cache, where 3DMAX secured a 13-11 win. Luminosity fought back on Dust2, forcing overtime, but 3DMAX took the map 19-16. Luminosity kept their hopes alive on Ancient by winning a second consecutive overtime 19-15, leveling the series.

On Inferno, Luminosity controlled the first half, eventually forcing a deciding fifth map. The final map, Nuke, saw intense back-and-forth play. After 3DMAX established a strong CT side, Luminosity managed to force overtime. However, 3DMAX found their rhythm on the T side in the extra rounds, sealing the series 16-13.

Despite the loss, Luminosity takes home $20,000 and a significant boost in the VRS rankings, climbing from 32th to 21st place. This ascent greatly improves their prospects for the PGL Singapore Major. The team's next stop is Barcelona for Stake Ranked Episode 4, where they will face B8.
