2026 LCK Round 3: Zenith rebounds, Hanjin Breeon retakes top spot
Round 3 of the 2026 LCK regular season wrapped up on August 9. After a shaky start, Zenith staged a comeback by defeating Hanwha Life Esports and KT Rolster in succession. Meanwhile, Hanjin Breeon broke their losing streak to reclaim the top spot in the Rise Group.
Zenith's resurgence in Legends Group
At the start of Round 3, Zenith suffered two consecutive losses. However, during the second week they showed their class. On August 5, they defeated Hanwha Life Esports, and on August 7 they secured a convincing win over KT Rolster, conceding only 2 kills in total across the first two sets.
As a result of the matches, Zenith achieved two consecutive wins, while both T1 and Hanwha Life Esports finished with one win and one loss. The top three teams in the Legends Group ended up tied at 16 wins and 6 losses. Leadership was decided by set differential: T1 led with +21, followed by Hanwha Life Esports at +19, and Zenith at +18.
