200,000 Copies Sold in One Week: The Success of CRACK
The cooperative adventure CRACK is off to a flying start. Developers at Rafoli have announced that over 200,000 copies were sold within the first week of release, accompanied by a 'Very Positive' rating from Steam users.
The premise of the game—tasked with cracking a mysterious giant egg in a lab—has resonated with both players and content creators. On launch day, Twitch viewership reached 79,000 people. The game also gained significant traction on YouTube, with creators like H2ODelirious, Blitz, and Le Shesh producing content around the release, while Coffi Channel covered the title for the Russian-speaking audience.
The developers noted that player feedback has already played a crucial role in shaping the experience. Early updates have introduced features such as Offline Mode, public lobbies, Chill Mode, and the Pocket item. Technical improvements have also been implemented, including faster loading for large save files and fixes for items getting stuck under laboratory shelves.
With the initial launch phase successfully completed, Rafoli is already looking toward the future. The studio confirmed that major updates featuring new content are currently in development and will be announced soon.
