Zomblers disband after lengthy period of roster instability

Zomblers is officially disbanding. Following a year defined by constant roster changes, Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz has announced that the team will no longer compete together.

The primary struggle for the squad was maintaining stability in the final two slots; throughout 2026, seven different players occupied the fourth and fifth positions. While the official dissolution was announced yesterday, the core trio of Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou, Connor "CoolComs" Barnes, and CAJUN has been actively seeking new opportunities since early September.

In a transparent announcement, CAJUN addressed the reasons behind the split, taking responsibility for shortcomings in leadership. He cited a lack of ownership and discipline within the roster and admitted to being too complacent regarding the team's atmosphere, noting that he should have pushed for more energy and enthusiasm. He also mentioned that some roster additions were rushed, which was exacerbated by the team's internal environment.

Despite the instability, the core members achieved significant success in Counter-Strike 2. Originally coming together under the Tsunami banner in late 2024, their most notable accomplishments occurred while playing for Zomblers. This included reaching two CROSSFIRE season finals (winning one) and securing top-four finishes in several domestic online events, such as their recent third-place finish at the ECL Cup.

While the Zomblers project has ended, CAJUN, CoolComs, and Pose1doNN have all expressed their intention to continue competing at the professional level.
