Zeus: God of Oman launches August 26. Com2uS and Abuttons promise 'competitive MMORPG for everyone'
Com2uS and studio Abuttons have officially announced the launch date for their new MMORPG, Zeus: God of Oman. The game will release on PC and mobile devices on August 26. Developers promise a balanced economy, an AI assistant for offline progress, and content accessible to players of all skill levels.
Company Com2uS and studio Abuttons have officially confirmed the release date for their new MMORPG, Zeus: God of Oman. The game will be available in stores on August 26. This is the first project led by Kim Dai-hoon, former Vice President of Nexon.
At the showcase, key features were revealed: graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5, a class system, and a unique concept of a 'competitive MMORPG for everyone.'
The game's setting is the world of Greek mythology where the rift between gods and humans caused chaos. The central heroine Pandora (voiced by actress Pak Ji-hyun) plays the role of a guide for the player.
Four main classes with two specializations each are available: Warrior (Knight and Berserker), Lord (Assassin and Ranger), Magician (Elementalist and Oracle), and Paragon (Blessed and Artisan). The latter class is not a separate branch but a specialization in crafting and trading.
The main focus developers place on accessibility. For players who cannot play in real-time, an AI mode is provided. It allows performing routine actions (hunting, crafting) automatically for up to 12 hours a day, and up to 24 hours with a subscription purchase. However, key events and PvP content remain for manual control.
The game's economy is also well-developed: there is a unified trading house for three servers and a 'Midas's Vault' system that stabilizes the market without allowing one player to monopolize resources. Com2uS confirmed that all paid items can be obtained through gameplay.
Developers also spoke about fighting cheaters and farming. AI algorithms are used to detect anomalies in account behavior, and servers for streamers and regular players are separated to avoid imbalance.
