Yatoro on TI15: "There are many strong teams here capable of winning the tournament"
At the start of the conversation, Yatoro addressed which hero provided him with more enjoyment during the series against his opponents. The player admitted to preferring the first map featuring Lone Druid, where he was able to dominate the opposing lineup effectively.
— I definitely enjoyed the first game on Lone Druid more, — stated Yatoro. — On this hero, I finished the match with a 18/0/9 stat line and destroyed the opponent's throne through the backdoor.
When asked why the opposing team failed to ban the hero despite his strength, the player explained it was part of their strategic preparation. According to Yatoro, the opponents simply overlooked Lone Druid, focusing instead on another pick.
— I think they just forgot about Lone Druid. They picked Doom and decided it wasn't an issue. But it was part of our plan, so we were glad we could pick Lone Druid, — added Yatoro.
Separately, the player commented on the overall atmosphere of the event. Many consider The International 2026 to be the most competitive in history, and Yatoro agrees with this assessment.
— I think there are many strong teams here capable of winning the tournament. We will try to be one of them, — declared the representative of Team Spirit.
In the next upper bracket match, Team Spirit will face PARIVISION. The match is scheduled for August 21 at 10:00 CEST. The International 2026 takes place in Shanghai, China, from August 13 to 23. Teams are competing for over $3.2 million, and the prize pool continues to grow through the sale of team and caster bundles.
