BLG's Xun on Reaching the Worlds 2026 Semifinals: "We've already completed our first mission"
Following Bilibili Gaming's 3:0 victory over Dplus KIA in the Worlds 2026 Quarterfinals, jungler Peng "Xun" Li-Xun shared his thoughts on the series, the challenges faced in the final game, and his motivation to maintain high performance on the international stage.
While the series ended in a clean sweep, the third game proved more difficult than anticipated. Xun explained that after reaching a 20-kill lead, BLG became overly aggressive and proactive, which created unnecessary obstacles and turned the game into a back-and-forth struggle.
As a prominent figure in the LPL, Xun's international performances are driven by a desire to prove the region's strength. He noted that following several years of disappointing international results for the LPL, his goal is to demonstrate to the world that the Chinese region remains a top-tier contender.
Regarding the team dynamic, Xun focuses on maintaining a positive atmosphere by following a "live in the moment" philosophy. He emphasized the importance of approaching every day with a serious mindset and a positive attitude, regardless of the circumstances, to help motivate his teammates.
With a spot in the semifinals secured, BLG is now two victories away from the title. Xun described the victory over Dplus KIA as their "first mission," stating that the team is ready to tackle the two remaining challenges on their path to the championship.
