WoW Weekly: Details on WoW: Forever, New Raids, and Hallow’s End
The latest news from World of Warcraft is here, covering everything from the upcoming WoW: Forever updates to the Gods of Zul'Aman content in Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. Here is what players can expect in terms of gameplay, raids, and seasonal events.
A major shift is coming to WoW: Forever with the introduction of rulesets. Moving away from the traditional realm-selection screen, these rulesets will act as broad player ecosystems, making it easier for players to find others with similar playstyles while maintaining a living Azeroth.
Players looking to secure their identity can participate in Early Name Reservations from October 27 through November 3. In Europe, the process begins on October 27 at 18:00 CET.
The dungeon and raid landscape is also expanding. WoW: Forever will introduce nine new five-player dungeons for levels 13 through 60, spanning the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. For endgame content, three raids—Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia’s Lair—are scheduled to launch on December 9 for level 60 players. Entry to Onyxia’s Lair will require the Drakefire Amulet.
In Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary, the Gods of Zul'Aman update is now live. Adventurers can head to the Ghostlands to confront the Amani stronghold and the forces of Zul'jin.
The Hallow’s End festivities will run from October 19 to November 2. This year's celebration includes Midnight Candy Buckets in Quel'Thalas, new holiday decorations from vendors, and a fresh set of achievements.
Finally, Blizzard released a new motion comic for World of Warcraft: Midnight titled “Singularity.” The story follows Arator Windrunner as he ventures into the Void to uncover the truth about his parents' fate.
