World of Warcraft: Forever Beta Now Live

Blizzard Entertainment has officially launched the beta test for World of Warcraft: Forever. Players are invited to explore a reimagined Azeroth, featuring new discoveries and a visual overhaul. The testing phase will run until October 21, 2026.

The beta will introduce content in stages. During the first week, players can explore the new race and the Zephras Isle and Skyborne zones. Available dungeons include Hall of Thanes (levels 13–18) and Ruins of Lordaeron (levels 15–20). The level cap starts at 20 and will be raised to 30 later in the testing period.

Access to the beta is available to selected community veterans, press, and friends, as well as purchasers of digital bundles, such as the Skyborne Epic Pack or the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection. Bundle owners should see their access reflected in the Battle.net app within approximately 30 minutes of purchase.

Due to the game's updated visual style, World of Warcraft: Forever introduces specific hardware requirements. The game relies on RGBA16F UAV support in compute shaders, meaning GPUs based on older architectures—specifically those older than AMD GCN 1, NVIDIA Maxwell, or Intel Skylake—will no longer be supported. Players with older hardware will need to upgrade their GPUs to participate.
