Warframe: The Shadowgrapher — New Warframe Follie, Vesper Relay Update and Switch 2 Support

Digital Extremes has announced the release of The Shadowgrapher, a major update for Warframe. The update brings the new Warframe Follie, who wields unique ink-based abilities, and includes a remaster of the opening mission. Developers have also improved legacy quests and introduced new relics for the Adversary system.

The new Warframe Follie is described as a "merry, macabre Shadowgrapher." Her abilities revolve around ink: she can summon a shadow object, absorb damage through her own silhouette, and tether enemies to floating balloons. All her abilities apply the Inkblot slow effect, and afflicted enemies have a chance to drop health and energy orbs.

The update also returns players to the Vesper Relay. The orbital station orbiting Venus was destroyed in 2014 during Operation: Eyes of Blight. Players can now explore its ruins and face a new threat. Developers have also remastered the first mission: the skybox has been updated, combat pacing changed, new music tracks added, and dialogue re-recorded.

The Shadowgrapher introduces new Eterna Relics that contain only mods for the Adversary system. Old relics no longer require refinement, but they can still be purchased from Palladino on Earth.

The update also adds new faces for the Operator and Drifter, as well as a new TennoGen customization collection featuring skins for Styanax, Nova, and other Warframes. New Adversary weapon versions have been released: Kuva Ghoulsaw, Tenet Quanta, and Coda Bubonico.

For owners of the Nintendo Switch 2, developers have prepared a special gift: logging into the game before April 15 will reward players with the free Ambimanus Pack. The update is available on all platforms.
