Unreal Nightmare parts ways with CS2 team
Unreal Nightmare has parted ways with its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The departure was announced by IGL Brock "brawckzz" Chase via a post on X.
The split stems from a lack of alignment regarding a long-term vision and recent roster instability. In a statement to Dust2.us, brawckzz explained that neither the organization nor the players were willing to commit to a long-term future together.
Prior to leaving Unreal Nightmare, the squad moved on from James "Jachro" Brooks ahead of FRAG University. During that event, the team competed with Canadian player Ludovic "SarkasM" Kozakevich, ultimately finishing in 7th–8th place after losses to NRG and Without a Roof in the double-elimination playoffs.
The ex-Unreal Nightmare squad will now compete under the Sup banner, with Matthew "swayu" Norton joining as the fifth player. The new Sup lineup consists of:
- Brock "brawckzz" Chase
- Simon "Sharpie" Taylor
- Jake "j3nni" Jennison
- Ryan "Roo" Watts
- Matthew "swayu" Norton
- Foxec (Coach)
