Unreal Nightmare bench Jachro, part ways with coach JeffLaFlavor
Unreal Nightmare has officially benched James "Jachro" Brooks and parted ways with longtime coach Jeff "JeffLaFlavor" LaFave, citing recent struggles in form and results as the primary drivers for the roster shake-up ahead of ESEA Advanced S59.
The changes were confirmed via social media posts from both individuals. James "Jachro" Brooks took to X to announce his removal from the active squad, explicitly referencing his own poor form and the team's lackluster results in the lead-up to this decision. Similarly, Jeff "JeffLaFlavor" LaFave announced through his own channel that he would be stepping back from coaching duties for a while, ending his tenure as the head coach of the core group.
With Jachro leaving the active lineup, the team is now looking to finalize their roster before the upcoming ESEA Advanced S59 season. In the interim, AWPer Brock "brawckzz" Chase has officially taken over the IGL (In-Game Leader) role left vacant by Brooks' departure. The current active roster consists of Brock "brawckzz" Chase, Simon "Sharpie" Taylor, Jake "j3nni" Jennison, and Ryan "Roo" Watts.
While there was a brief possibility that Jachro might suit up for the team's ESEA Advanced playoffs lower bracket match tonight against Celestial, Brooks has clarified that he will not be playing with the organization moving forward. The move leaves Unreal Nightmare in search of a new player and coach to round out their squad for the future.
