Terranigma launches January 14, 2027
The action RPG Terranigma is set to launch on January 14, 2027, according to publisher Clear River Games. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Several physical editions will be available alongside the digital release. Standard editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are priced at $39.99 (€39.99), while the Nintendo Switch 2 version will cost $44.99 (€44.99). A limited-quantity Foiled Standard Edition featuring a foiled cover will be sold exclusively through the Clear River Games and Limited Run Games online stores. For collectors, there is a SteelBook Edition ($64.99 / €64.99) and the premium Terranigma Gaia Edition for $199.99 (€199.99). The latter includes a Yomi figurine, a Pandora’s Box music box replica, a 200-page art book, an Arc enamel pin, a soundtrack CD, and a cotton cloth world map.
The remaster aims to preserve the original pixel art style designed by manga artist Kamui Fujiwara while introducing modern Quality-of-Life features. A new Arranged Mode will offer increased magic damage, a mini-map, and anywhere-save functionality. Additional features include a CRT filter, customizable aspect ratios, a music player, a museum mode, a rewind function, and remappable controls to enhance the gameplay experience for both new and returning players.
