Team Liquid secured a decisive 3:0 victory over FUT Esports in the lower bracket final of the VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 playoffs, advancing to face Karmine Corp in the grand final. While FUT Esports concluded their tournament run in third place, Team Liquid's dominant performance was anchored by a standout individual display from Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak.
The series opened on Split, where Team Liquid established an early 9:3 lead in the first half. After the side switch, they limited FUT Esports to just two additional rounds before closing out the map 13:5. On Ascent, Team Liquid controlled the opening half with a commanding 10:2 score. Although FUT Esports managed to win six of the next nine rounds after the break, the initial deficit proved insurmountable as Team Liquid secured another 13:8 victory.
Lotus served as the closest encounter of the series. Team Liquid entered the second half with a narrow 7:5 lead, and the teams traded rounds after the side switch. FUT Esports remained competitive until the closing stages, but Team Liquid edged the second half 6:5 to complete the map 13:10. The series ended 3:0 in Team Liquid's favor.
