Team Flash win third straight as Selangor Red Giants stay top at MPL Malaysia Season 18
Team Flash extended their winning streak to three series with a 2:0 victory over RRQ Tora in MPL Malaysia Season 18. Team Rey also swept Invictus Gaming, while Selangor Red Giants defeated Team Vamos 2:0 to maintain their lead in the standings.
Team Flash improved to a 3–4 record with nine points and an even game differential after securing their third consecutive series win. RRQ Tora suffered their sixth defeat of the season, dropping to 1–6 with three points. This result places Team Flash level on points with Bigetron MY by VIT and Invictus Gaming.
Team Rey recorded their fifth victory of the regular season by defeating Invictus Gaming 2:0. The win moved Team Rey into second place with a 5–2 record, a +6 game differential, and 15 points. Invictus Gaming dropped to 3–3, remaining on nine points. Team Rey now trails the league leaders by three points.
Selangor Red Giants returned to winning ways with a 2:0 sweep over Team Vamos. The defending leaders improved to 6–1 with a +10 game differential and 18 points after suffering their first loss of the season in the previous round. Team Vamos dropped to 4–2 with 12 points. Selangor Red Giants continue to hold first place in the regular-season standings.
MPL Malaysia Season 18 runs from August 14 to October 30, with teams competing for two slots at the M8 World Championship.
