Stewie2K and Without a Roof crack Top 100 in the VRS
The Without a Roof squad, led by Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, has broken into the global VRS Top 100 following their victory over LAG in CROSSFIRE Season 6.
This win secures the North American veterans a spot in the CROSSFIRE S6 consolidation final. They are now just one victory away from reaching the grand finals. Should Without a Roof defeat Overtake Sector tonight, they will have qualified for their third consecutive grand final, following their runs in NSTLGA Season 2 and ESEA S58 NA Finals.
The team has been on a significant hot streak, securing seven consecutive wins. This momentum has not only placed them in the global Top 100 but also within the Top 20 of the Americas VRS. While a top-9 finish in the Americas to qualify for the PGL Singapore Major is no longer mathematically possible, their current form keeps the door open for a potential qualification for the FiRe Major 2027 in Buenos Aires.
To climb higher in the VRS system, Without a Roof must secure more LAN victories, which carry the most weight in the rankings. Currently, the roster holds two LAN wins against Wanted Goons and SportsBetExpert at FRAG Midwest: St. Louis. Their next opportunity to accumulate LAN points arrives at FRAG University, featuring high-ranking Americas teams like NRG and DENDELE. The tournament is scheduled to begin on October 9th.
