Stellar Blade Complete Edition announced for Switch2 at TGS2026
At TGS2026, SHIFT UP announced Stellar Blade Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2. The release is scheduled for November 6, 2026.
The Complete Edition will serve as the definitive version of the game, containing the base title along with all previously released DLC, such as the NieR and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE collaborations. Additionally, a free Bayonetta collaboration will be available at launch, featuring four distinct costume sets for Eve.
In an interview with 4Gamer, SHIFT UP CEO Hyung-tae Kim discussed the technical performance of the upcoming port. He confirmed that the game is expected to maintain a stable 50–60 FPS in handheld mode on Nintendo Switch 2. Kim also highlighted the studio's approach to creature design, noting that most monsters in the game are based on scans of physical models to achieve a unique sense of texture and weight.

Regarding the franchise's future, Hyung-tae Kim addressed the existence of a sequel titled Stellar Blade BLOOD RAIN. He described the upcoming project as a work that will further refine the story of the original game. While it is intended to be playable as a standalone title, he noted that players who have experienced the first game will find more depth in the narrative. Kim also hinted that Stellar Blade might undergo further evolutions or changes even as the sequel approaches development.
