Star Wars: Galactic Racer launches on Amazon Luna via Prime subscription
Star Wars: Galactic Racer will be available on the Amazon Luna cloud gaming service at launch as part of the Amazon Prime subscription. This allows players to jump into the action immediately without needing a console or waiting for lengthy downloads.
Developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode, the title will offer Luna users the full experience, including the single-player campaign and the Arcade and Scenario modes. While Arcade mode focuses on short, objective-based timed events, Scenario mode provides various rule-sets and a diverse roster of characters to race with.
The game is scheduled to launch on Luna alongside traditional platforms, including Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Jeff Gattis, Head of Gaming at Amazon, noted that the goal is to provide day-one access to Prime members, catering to an audience that enjoys major AAA IPs but may not own dedicated gaming hardware.
Following its integration into Prime Video earlier this year, Amazon Luna continues to expand its library, which now features over 100 titles such as Hogwarts Legacy and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The platform's strategy remains focused on approachable, mass-appeal franchises that are easy for a broad audience to pick up and play.
