One of Xbox’s more distinctive early-June indie beats now has both an editorial reveal post and a live store description to back it up.
What the new post says
In the June 6, 2026 XBOX Wire article, Ayelet Studio frames Son of Thanjai as an action-adventure set in ancient South India, with combat inspired by one of the world’s oldest martial traditions.
The studio also makes a point of presenting the Chola setting as a lived cultural foundation rather than a distant visual motif.
What the store page adds
The XBOX Store description calls it an open-world action-adventure set in an alternate-history Chola Empire.
That page confirms Xbox and PC support, while the official game site also lists PlayStation 5.
