Rumor: Riot Games Might Change ACS Calculation in VALORANT Ranked Mode

The Average Combat Score (ACS) calculation in VALORANT ranked matches might undergo significant changes. According to a leak from valohabercisi, Riot Games may consider factoring in the efficiency of agent ability usage when determining these scores.

Data discovered in the game files suggests that specific agent actions could influence ACS. This includes tasks such as planting or defusing the Spike using Wingman while enemies are active, scouting with Sova's drone or Cypher's camera, healing allies with Skye, or absorbing damage via Harbor's Cove sphere.

The system might also reward effective offensive utility, such as blinding or stunning multiple opponents, securing kills following a Jett dash, utilizing Chamber or Yoru teleports, and eliminating enemies affected by the abilities of Fade, Astra, or KAY/O.

Currently, these parameters have been identified for only 24 agents. While some claims suggest the new system could arrive following next week's update, Riot Games has not officially confirmed any changes to ACS mechanics. As this data has been present in the files for some time, the actual implementation timeline remains unconfirmed.
