Rhilech Named LEC 2026 Rookie of the Year
Enes "Rhilech" Uchan of Natus Vincere has been named the LEC 2026 Rookie of the Year. The award was announced on September 11 during the official broadcast before the GIANTX and NAVI match in the LEC 2026 Summer playoffs.
Second place in the voting went to Josip "Jopa" Čančar from SK Gaming, while Shin "Rooster" Yoon Hwan from Shifters took third. Over the three splits of the 2026 season, Rhilech accumulated a total of 13 match MVP awards.
In the regular stage of LEC 2026 Versus, the NAVI jungler started his debut year with five MVPs, the highest among all participants of that phase. He added four more in the spring, second only to Jackies with five, and led the Summer regular season with another four. This made him the most recognized player in a match across the entire year.
The Rookie of the Year award is based on performance across the entire season rather than a single split. Eligibility requires a player to remain active in the LEC, participate in at least two of the three season splits, and play no less than half of the scheduled matches in each. The voting panel includes professional players, team representatives, journalists, broadcast partners, and official on-air talents.
For Rhilech, 2026 marked his first full season in the LEC. He secured his position in NAVI's main lineup throughout the year, and the team finished the Summer regular stage with a 5–4 record to advance to the playoffs. Rhilech also made it to the third All-Pro team in the LEC during the Summer split.
