Razer becomes official headset partner of BLAST Premier
Razer has announced a two-year partnership with BLAST Premier. The company will serve as the official headset partner for the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament series, covering 12 events from late 2026 through 2028.
Hardware for the competitive stage
Under the agreement, players will compete using Razer headsets. The partnership is set to debut at BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong, scheduled for November 11–15, 2026.
The centerpiece of this collaboration is the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro. The development of this flagship model involved direct input from esports professionals, including CS2 Major champion Nikola "NiKo" Kovač. Razer aims to use the BLAST Premier stage as a proving ground to refine audio clarity and sound cues essential for high-level competitive play.
Professional adoption and usage
Data from ProSettings.net indicates that the BlackShark line holds the top two positions among gaming headsets used by professionals. Specifically, the BlackShark V3 Pro is identified as the most-used headset among the more than 775 tracked Counter-Strike 2 professionals worldwide.
