Players' Choice: Vote for October’s Best New Game
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the launch of its monthly People's Choice poll, allowing players to vote for the best new game released in October. The initiative aims to highlight the most impactful release of the month based on community preference.
October brought a diverse range of titles to the platform, from high-octane racing to stealth missions. The editorial team has curated a list of noteworthy releases to seed the poll, including major titles such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Phantom Blade Zero, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, and Silver Pines.
The voting process is straightforward: the PlayStation Blog editorial team selects the month's most significant releases to form the poll's candidates. Players are asked to choose the one game they would recommend to a friend. Notably, while re-releases are ineligible, remakes—defined as ambitious, large-scale rebuilds like Resident Evil 4 (2023) or Final Fantasy VII Remake—are permitted to compete.
Once the polls close, the votes will be tallied, and the winner will be announced via Sony's social media channels and PlayStation.Blog.
