Philips adds new 260Hz ultrawide to Evnia gaming monitor lineup
Philips has expanded its Evnia gaming lineup with the introduction of the 36M4C5500P. This 36-inch curved ultrawide monitor is positioned by the manufacturer as the world's first gaming monitor of its size.
Display Specs and Features
The 36M4C5500P utilizes a 1500R fast VA panel with Ultra-Wide QHD resolution. It supports an overclockable refresh rate of up to 260Hz and features a 0.3ms MPRT response time. The display is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, with a peak HDR brightness of 500 nits.
On-screen display features include Smart MBR Sync to reduce motion blur, ShadowBoost for brightening dark scenes, and dedicated FPS modes for crosshairs and sniping. Additionally, the MultiView functionality allows users to view two video sources simultaneously on the single panel.
Design and Connectivity
The chassis incorporates the Evnia M4 signature Iconglow lighting, offering customizable RGB effects on the rear. For connectivity, the monitor provides two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. The included stand supports height, tilt, and swivel adjustments for improved ergonomics.
The 36M4C5500P is set to launch first in the APAC region.
