The Wulin world and combat options

The game takes place in the dark Wulin world, filled with conflict and intrigue. The protagonist, Soul, travels through this world, encountering civilians and completing side quests that can unlock new story paths. As players explore Wulin, they unlock more than 30 main weapons plus 25 secondary weapons known as Phantom Edges. Weapons can be upgraded and paired with different accessories to create the desired build.

Players can use summons to assist in battle or attack enemies from afar. Defeating some enemies expands your arsenal, giving you even more ways to take on challenging foes. If you second-guess a weapon upgrade or want to switch up your build, you can always reforge it and get those materials back to reinvest them in another.

Difficulty options

The game offers a range of difficulty options for different types of players. Wayfarer mode is for those who simply want to enjoy the story. For experienced action game veterans, there is Hellwalker, where enemies have more advanced and adaptive intelligence. There is also Sixty-Six Days, which isn't for the faint of heart.
