Over half of the Major invites are clinched according to HLTV's prediction model
The race for a spot at the upcoming PGL Singapore Major for Counter-Strike 2 is nearing its end. With exactly two weeks to go before the November 2nd cutoff, the number of available competitive slots is rapidly diminishing. According to HLTV's prediction model, 17 of the 32 available spots are clinched, meaning these teams' invites are all but certain.
While the exact percentage required to be considered clinched isn't listed, it is likely around 98% based on the teams outside that threshold. Currently, the distribution of clinched spots includes ten teams from Europe, six from the Americas, and one from Asia. North American fans can be pleased to see that M80 and Liquid have secured their spots, while Wildcard and NRG are still fighting for the remaining three Americas slots.
While most staple tier-one teams are already in the safe range, some are still in the fight. In Europe, NAVI aims to maintain their spotless Major attendance streak, while FaZe seeks to recover after missing IEM Cologne. In the Americas, the battle for the remaining spots is primarily a dogfight between four teams: NRG, Wildcard, DENDELE, and Imperial, with DENDELE appearing nearly certain.
The teams with clinched spots for the PGL Singapore Major are:
- Europe: Vitality, MOUZ, Spirit, Aurora, Falcons, G2, FUT, BETBOOM, Astralis, HEROIC;
- Americas: FURIA, Legacy, 9z, MIBR, M80, Liquid;
- Asia: BC.Game.
