NVIDIA RTX Spark PCs with 1 Petaflop AI Arrive in October

NVIDIA has confirmed that its Arm-based RTX Spark platform will launch in October 2026, with initial hardware from over six OEM partners. The systems pair a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU with an RTX Blackwell GPU to deliver up to 1 petaflop of local AI compute and up to 128GB of unified memory.

At IFA 2026, NVIDIA stated that newly announced designs join the existing six OEMs shipping in October. Acer displayed a compact desktop concept, while Lenovo announced its Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 convertible with an OLED display. Acer also unveiled a small form factor design that integrates the superchip into a mini PC chassis.

Game developers have also committed to the platform. Following earlier announcements from Xbox, Riot Games, NetEase, and Krafton, NVIDIA confirmed that Electronic Arts, Embark, and Ubisoft are bringing AAA titles to RTX Spark hardware. A live demo showed a Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra running Alan Wake with DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, as well as an Unreal Engine city project loading entirely into the active memory pool.

The architectural advantage of RTX Spark lies in its unified memory design. By pairing the "Grace" CPU with Blackwell graphics in a single memory architecture, the system eliminates the traditional bottleneck between system RAM and dedicated VRAM. This allows developers to load massive game worlds, high-resolution textures, and complex scene files directly into a single high-speed memory pool without being constrained by VRAM limits.

The full version of RTX Spark features 6,144 Blackwell RTX GPU cores and 20 Grace CPU cores. NVIDIA's landing page also lists a laptop-exclusive variant with 5,120 GPU cores and 18 CPU cores. It remains unclear whether systems based on this lower-end variant will arrive in October or at a later date. With major OEMs like Lenovo and Acer in the initial wave, RTX Spark is positioned as an alternative to traditional x86 laptops and competing Arm-based solutions, with its ability to accelerate Windows on Arm momentum to be seen in the coming months.
