NVIDIA and Microsoft tease RTX Spark announcements for October 7 Windows event
The upcoming Windows event from Microsoft is expected to feature RTX Spark announcements. Jensen Huang is confirmed to attend.
Microsoft and NVIDIA are dropping more hints about next week's Windows event. The company has confirmed that the October 7 event (US date format) will include RTX Spark and new experiences designed to unlock more possibilities for developers and builders. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is already confirmed to attend, and the RTX Spark account has also shared a new teaser.
The RTX Spark Platform
Introduced earlier this year, RTX Spark is a Windows platform combining Grace CPU cores with Blackwell-based graphics and up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. While the platform is compatible with DLSS, Reflex, and Game Ready drivers, the current hardware lineup focuses on productivity rather than pure gaming.
The first wave of devices associated with the platform includes professional and creator-focused laptops:
- ASUS ProArt P16
- Dell XPS 16
- HP OmniBook Ultra 16
- Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n
- Microsoft Surface Laptop
- MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+
The October 7 event is expected to provide more clarity on the platform's implementation and capabilities. While the current selection lacks traditional gaming laptops, the technical foundation remains robust for high-end mobile computing.
