NVIDIA rolls out Game Ready driver with DLSS 4.5 and RTX support for upcoming titles
NVIDIA has released a new GeForce Game Ready driver, version 617.14 WHQL. The update brings optimizations for several upcoming major releases and confirms a wave of titles arriving with DLSS 4.5 and RTX features over the next few weeks.
Optimizations for major upcoming releases
The driver focuses on enhancing performance and stability for several high-profile launches. A significant update is coming to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, which features overhauled graphics, animations, and combat mechanics. This version will support upgraded path tracing, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, and faster Frame Generation. Notably, RTX 50-series GPUs will be able to leverage Dynamic Multi Frame Generation to achieve up to 6X performance gains.
The update also covers the following titles:
- Control Resonant (launching September 24): full path tracing, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.
- AION 2 (Founder’s Pack on September 30, general release October 5): DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation available from day one.
- Gears of War: E-Day (Early Access October 1, full release October 6): support for DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, Lumen ray-traced lighting, and RTX Mega Geometry for more accurate Nanite ray tracing.
The new driver is available for download now via the NVIDIA website or through the NVIDIA App on PC.
