NRG swaps NSTLGA Texas for FiRe LAST CHANCE

NRG has withdrawn from NSTLGA Texas Open 2026. The North American side will instead compete in FiRe LAST CHANCE 2026, stepping into the slot vacated by their compatriots Voca.

The move to the Argentinean event is driven by a stronger team list, offering NRG a chance to secure vital VRS points. Currently ranked #10 in the NA VRS, the squad needs to reach the top nine to earn a spot at PGL Major Singapore.

Following their peak performance against MOUZ at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, NRG has struggled, going 3-4 in recent matches and dropping crucial games to Major rivals Wildcard and Imperial. According to Mischief, their odds for the Major stand at 38.79%, though they likely need a slip-up from Imperial or Wildcard before the November 2nd cutoff.

While JiJieHao are also in line to potentially take a spot at LAST CHANCE, their participation remains uncertain. As Graham "messioso" Pitt from 100 Thieves pointed out, securing visas on such short notice is expected to be a significant challenge for the team.
