Netmarble Launches Nova Growth Support Server for RF ONLINE NEXT
Netmarble has announced the launch of the 'Nova' Super Boost server for the MMORPG RF ONLINE NEXT. This new server is designed to facilitate rapid character growth through specialized rewards and mission-based incentives.
The Nova server provides players with a streamlined path to progression. During the event period, players can earn up to 10,000 Summon Tickets through attendance and missions. Additionally, weekly gameplay tasks will offer up to 4,000 Mystic Diamonds, which can be used for inventory expansion or purchasing shop items, functioning similarly to standard Diamonds in most aspects.
Character growth on the Nova server is tied to specific milestones. Upon reaching designated levels, players are eligible to receive Legendary-tier Biosuits, Rovers, and weapon skins. The server also features active buffs for EXP, Credits, and National Contribution. Starting October 28, players will also receive five Ctrl+Z Coupons every month.
In addition to the new server, several core gameplay systems are being updated:
- Mining War: The structure, rules, and reward system have undergone a complete revamp, with the first overhauled war scheduled for October 24.
- Exchange System: Individual server exchanges have been replaced by World Exchange and Integrated Exchange models.
- Halloween Content: On October 28, the Jack-o'-Lantern's Banquet dungeon will open. Players can collect Pumpkin Lantern currency to obtain the Infernal Nightmare costume and the Black Cat Rover skin.
- New Zones: The exoplanet Ushas will receive a new hunting area, Ushas Swarm Zone 2, and a new World Boss, Rusty Junkworm.
RF ONLINE NEXT is a cross-platform MMORPG (PC and mobile) based on the 2004 RF Online IP. Following its official launch on March 20, 2025, the title reached the No. 1 spot in revenue across both major domestic mobile app markets within just six days.
