NC to host second Steam Playtest for Time Takers in November
NC has announced that it will conduct a second testing phase for its upcoming time survival shooter, Time Takers. The Playtest is set to take place on Steam this November.
The testing period will run from November 13 (08:00) to November 16 (08:00). Players interested in participating can apply via the Time Takers store page on Steam. Developed by Mistil Games, the title is intended to be a free-to-play experience upon its eventual release.
This second round of testing aims to address feedback gathered during the September session. Key improvements include combat balance adjustments, enhanced character individuality, and refinements to movement controls, combat feedback, and visibility. Additionally, the matchmaking system is being overhauled to better account for player skill levels and party compositions.
According to an NC representative, metrics for playtime and replayability saw an overall increase during the September test compared to the initial CBT held in March. While specific growth figures were not disclosed, the company intends to use these insights to further polish the game's mechanics ahead of its full launch.
