Natus Vincere vs MOUZ and Team Lynx vs Level UP set for BLAST Slam VIII semifinals
The opening day of the RES Unchained 5: BLAST SLAM VIII Europe Closed Qualifier has concluded with all four semifinal matchups confirmed for August 30. Natus Vincere will face MOUZ, while Team Lynx will take on Level UP. The winners of these decisive series will secure the two available European slots at BLAST Slam VIII.
Natus Vincere swept Summer Bear 2:0 without dropping a single map. The first game ended in a dominant 44–10 victory after just 29:08, followed by a second map win of 41–11 in 28:24. This clean sweep sent the team directly to the qualification match against MOUZ. For Natus Vincere, one more series win is all that stands between them and a spot at BLAST Slam VIII.

Level UP defeated Pipsqueak+4 2:1 to complete the semifinal lineup. They won the opening map 34–22, but Pipsqueak+4 answered with a 42–27 victory in game two. Level UP then took the deciding map to close out the series. Their top performer was WoE, who posted an average K/D/A of 8.3/3.0/7.1.
The European closed qualifier concludes on August 30 with these high-stakes matchups. Both winners will earn their places at BLAST Slam VIII, which features two qualification slots for Europe.
