MVK Coach: "Strong in fights, but lacking macro"
MVK eSports coach "Sofm" Le Quang Huy has shared his insights regarding the team's performance at the League of Legends World Championship. Following a setback in the Play-In upper bracket, the team now faces a critical path in the lower bracket.
At the League of Legends World Championship, MVK eSports suffered a 0:3 defeat against Karmine Corp in the second round of the Play-In winners' bracket. Despite having moments where a comeback seemed possible, coach "Sofm" Le Quang Huy admitted the series was difficult. He noted that while the squad excels in laning phases and teamfights, they currently struggle with macro-level decision-making.
Discussing the roster, the coach highlighted the mechanical talent of their young players, specifically mentioning "Chika" Vo Van Nien for his wide champion pool, though he noted a lack of tournament experience. This follows a dominant 3:0 victory over FURIA, a result the coach attributed to effective pre-match analysis.
MVK is now set to face FURIA in the lower bracket. Looking further ahead, "Sofm" Le Quang Huy acknowledged that facing teams like Cloud9 will present much greater challenges that are difficult to predict.
