MSI Unveils MAG 271QP QD-OLED X28: 280Hz WQHD QD-OLED Gaming Monitor
MSI has begun showcasing its new MAG 271QP QD-OLED X28 gaming monitor at the Sofmap AKIBA PC & Digital Store. This 26.5-inch display utilizes QD-OLED technology, combining quantum dots with OLED to deliver deep blacks and vibrant color reproduction.
Panel Specifications and Performance
The MAG 271QP QD-OLED X28 is designed for high-speed gaming, featuring a WQHD (2560×1440) resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 280Hz. The QD-OLED panel offers an ultra-fast 0.03ms (GTG) response time, significantly reducing motion blur. The screen features a half-glare coating to minimize reflections.
Color accuracy is a key highlight, with coverage of 100% sRGB, 98% AdobeRGB, and 99.1% DCI-P3. The monitor comes factory-calibrated (ΔE≤2), making it suitable for both gaming and creative tasks. To ensure longevity, MSI has implemented MSI OLED Care 2.0 to prevent burn-in.
Connectivity and Ergonomics
The monitor's I/O includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, one USB Type-C (supporting DP Alt Mode), and a headphone jack. It is also G-SYNC Compatible to ensure smooth, tear-free gameplay.
The included stand provides extensive ergonomic adjustments, including height (0–100mm), tilt, pivot (-90° to +90°), and swivel (-30° to +30°). The total weight of the unit is approximately 8.2 kg.
