Moscow Cyber Games 2026 trophy falls apart during celebration
The celebration for 1w's victory at Moscow Cyber Games 2026 took an unexpected turn when the trophy fell apart on stage during the awards ceremony.
After Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov lifted the trophy to celebrate his team's grand final victory over HOTU, the ceremony took a sudden turn. As soon as nafany placed the trophy back on its plinth, the front section broke off and crashed to the ground, with several pieces from the back also coming loose.
The incident left nafany and his teammates visibly stunned as they watched the trophy fall. Fortunately, the damage appeared to be minor; Petr "fame" Bolyshev later retrieved the front piece and presented it to his captain for the post-match interview.
This incident adds to a growing list of trophy mishaps in Counter-Strike history, following similar occurrences involving players from Spirit, MOUZ, and Astralis over the last decade.
